LSM is excited to extend an exclusive invitation to LSM Alumni to participate in our Cyber Escape Room Event Collaboration – Fostering a Cyber Ecosystem. This invitation-only event, a partnership of the Pinkney Innovation Center at Montgomery College, the College of Southern Maryland Velocity Center at Indian Head, and Leadership Southern Maryland, is aimed at enhancing regional collaboration and cultivating a skilled cybersecurity workforce in Montgomery County and Southern Maryland.

- Locations:
- Minkoff Development Corp, 20457 Seneca Meadows Pkwy, Germantown, MD
- The Velocity Center, 4465 Indian Head Highway, Indian Head, MD
- Teams: 2-3 teams at each location (4-5 participants per team)
Prize Breakdown:
- 1st place: $3,000
- 2nd place: $1,500
- 3rd place: $500
Prizes can be kept or donated to a non-profit of your choice!
This event is exclusive to invited organizations and not open to the general public. LSM’s involvement will play a key role in refining this event for future public competitions. We are seeking professionals at various skill levels—whether seasoned in cybersecurity or new to the field—to join our LSM team or to form their own.
Key Event Features:
- Each team requires one computer (browser-based gameplay).
- Private rooms will be provided for a focused, distraction-free experience.
- The challenges are designed to be engaging yet manageable, ensuring a fun and rewarding experience.
