The LEAP Class of 2026 Graduates! |
Family, friends, and colleagues joined LSM in celebrating the LSM Emerging Leaders Program (LEAP) Class of 2026 at their graduation ceremony on June 12 at Jameson-Harrison American Legion Post #238 in Hughesville. The largest LEAP class ever, 30 talented professionals, completed a six-month program cultivating and refining their leadership acumen and exploring issues of concern to Southern Maryland.
Class speaker Kellie Smith, LEAP '26, Director of Rehabilitation Services at CalvertHealth Medical Center shared inspiring reflections on the shared journey of the class and her own personal path through leadership. Smith was elected by her colleagues to represent them; they cited her insight, passion for service, and exemplary quiet leadership. The ceremony also featured a video presentation about the class capstone service project with Christmas in April Calvert County. The video was filmed and produced by Logan Nagle, LEAP '25, Owner & President of Logan Nagle Video. A celebratory reception followed the ceremony, marking the culmination of six memorable months of connection, learning, and leadership growth. CONGRATULATIONS LEAP CLASS OF 2026! |
