To promote business and community interest in supporting St. Mary’s County Schools and enhancing opportunities for students.

What Your Gift Will Do:

Since 1989, BECA has been here for students. For three decades, BECA has provided support for students to take the next steps beyond high school into the greater world. BECA operates with one singular goal: to enhance educational opportunities for students. Every dollar donated is an investment in some deserving student’s future. Through community support, BECA continues to add to its roster of 300 scholarship recipients, many of whom are active members within the local workforce.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Actively seeking a Treasurer to manage finances. Always seeking volunteers to assist in the many activities in the BECA Common Scholarship Application each spring. This could include outreach, tracking, quality review of applications, applications review for scholarship award, and other duties as needed.
