Our Mission:

To create opportunities for independence and personal success for people with different abilities in inclusive communities.

What Your Gift Will Do:

(1) Supporting People on Waitlists & Filling Funding Gaps: State and federal budget cuts have created growing waitlists for essential services. Funds raised will help bridge those gaps, ensuring individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities continue receiving the personalized supports they need to live, work, and thrive in their communities. (2) Dental Fund: Access to affordable dental care remains one of the greatest unmet health needs for people with disabilities. Contributions to our Dental Fund will cover the cost of vital treatments not covered by insurance, helping individuals maintain their overall health, confidence, and quality of life. (3) Going Green Tree Replanting Project: As we move forward with installing solar panels to reduce our carbon footprint, several trees on our property will need to be removed. We’re committed to giving back to the environment by replanting trees across our campuses and in the community.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Group/Team Volunteer Days: Organizations, businesses, church groups or other teams can engage in day long service projects such as residential site renovations or landscaping at The Arc’s homes or offices. Direct Support/Program Assistance: Volunteers may assist in day programs, vocational or residential services, working alongside individuals with IDD in community settings or in The Arc’s programs. Buddy / Mentor Roles: Individuals can serve as “buddies” or peer mentors: engaging socially, supporting community outings or activities, helping to build relationships and inclusive participation. Grant writing/Fundraising: Individuals can support our mission through sharing their grant writing and fundraising skills.
